Account Deletion

How to delete your account

Account deletion is available directly inside the Conscia app. Follow these steps:

1. Open Conscia on your device.
2. Tap the Settings icon in the bottom navigation bar (rightmost icon).
3. Scroll down to the Data & privacy section.
4. Tap Delete account.
5. Read the confirmation message, then tap Delete account again to confirm.

Deletion is permanent and immediate. There is no waiting period or grace period after confirmation.

What gets deleted

When you confirm deletion, the following data is permanently removed from Conscia's servers:

• Account credentials and profile data — your display name, email address, and authentication records.
• All transactions and receipts — every transaction you have logged, including any scanned receipt images.
• Budget configurations — all budget categories, caps, and history.
• AI interaction history — all pre-purchase advisor queries and responses.
• Reflection and regret data — all reflection responses, regret markers, and pattern signals.

Data retention

None. All data listed above is deleted immediately and permanently upon confirmation. No personal data is retained after account deletion.

Anonymised, non-identifiable aggregate statistics (e.g. total registered user counts) may persist in our analytics systems but cannot be linked back to your account.

Export your data first

Before deleting your account, you can export a full JSON copy of your Conscia history:

1. Open Settings in the Conscia app.
2. Scroll to Data & privacy.
3. Tap Download my data.
